Community Sports/Activities on SchoolsBuddy

August 19th – Wednesday Evening – Community Basketball for students G9 -12s, parents, teachers and other adults could start on Wednesday August 19th. A list of names will be at the guard house. You may need to swipe your student ID card to access campus. Students must be registered on SchoolsBuddy. Once you are signed up, you will be added to the group chat.

Saturday Afternoon – NIS Student Community Basketball for students in G8-12 only. Please sign up on SchoolsBuddy. We can start when we have a minimum of 8 players registered. For more info, contact Mr Ibanez or stop by the Activities Office.

August 25th – Tuesday Evening – Family and Community Pickleball and Badminton – All students must be registered on SchoolsBuddy. Students in G4-8 must attend with a parent. Gr9-12 can attend on their own. Starts next week.

Student Activities Sign-ups

Ever feel like school is just… classes, homework, repeat? Join a club! Get involved!

We’ve got a whole lineup of student activities that are literally begging for people like you to show up and have fun. No tests (except for Math Olympiad Math Club.) No grades. Just vibes, creativity, and new friends.

Here are some of the activities on offer:

  • Drama: Be dramatic on purpose for once – audition for The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.
  • Cooking: Cook, eat, repeat – zero skills required, just a hungry stomach and a willingness to try.
  • MUN: Argue with purpose, dress like you mean it, and save the world.
  • Choir: Come for the harmonies, stay for the good vibes –all voices welcome, just pure musical energy.
  • NEW Film: Lights, camera, action – make short films and watch films. Zero budget and infinite creativity.
  • NEW Samulnori: Discover the art of Korean drumming – build rhythm, teamwork, and confidence through every beat.
  • NEW World Scholar’s Cup: Debate, write, quiz, and dance your way through global trivia.

Registration opens on SchoolsBuddy at 12.45 pm on Monday.

Professional Learning HUB

We have created a new Professional Learning HUB which allows you to be able to apply for your Professional Learning, review your applications, check your PLA balance and PLA expenses you have incurred. The page is individualized so you only see your own balance. With the help of AI we’ve also created a website on the front of the hub for you to search Professional Learning opportunities.
