G8 Advisors & GOA Information

I have posted a message about GOA for G8 in ManageBac in their Year Group Messages. Please make sure that students have seen this message.

GOA Enrollment 2025 – 2026 is Open!

Dear G9 & G10 Students and Families,

Enrollment for Global Online Academy (GOA) courses for the 2025-2026 school year is now open! At the bottom of this message, you will find a list of available courses and when they are offered (Summer, Semester 1, or Semester 2).

Please take a look at the GOA course offerings:

  • If you have taken a GOA course before, you can submit a course request on your own.
  • If you are new to GOA or unsure how to enroll, please visit me in room D213 or email me at AndrewFriedle@nanjing-school.com for help.

Important Information

  • Current G10 students (future G11 students) can only register for Summer GOA courses.
  • Current G9 students (future G10 students) can register for Summer, Semester 1, or Semester 2 courses.

Summer GOA Courses: What You Need to Know

  • Summer GOA courses are fast-paced and require more time.
  • semester-long course usually takes 5-7 hours per week.
  • summer course requires 10-14 hours per week because it covers the same content in a shorter time.

Register Early!

We encourage students to sign up as soon as possible for GOA courses in Summer, Semester 1, or Semester 2. While there is some flexibility, courses can fill up quickly, and you may not be able to enroll later. Early registration also helps us plan better.

If you have any questions, please reach out!
