Dear All,

Please note that the NIS campus will under restricted access during Mid-Autumn & National Holiday from September 25^th, 00:00 to October 4^th, 24:00.

During the period:

1. Main facilities will be closed: Main Building (include AC system), PAC building, Swimming Pool, Gyms and Design Centre.
2. Soccer pitch and central lawn will be closed for maintenance. 
3. The fitness room will be open throughout the holiday as normal open hours.  
4. The main access corridor at the Centre 1F will be closed.
5. Staff working in Main Building will enter and exit campus via Gate No.4

For access protocols, please refer to the designated routes for campus access and follow the instructions of security personnel on site.

This is a friendly reminder that Yearbook Photo Day is today.

Student Photos

Student portrait sessions for Early Years, Primary, and Secondary students will take place throughout the day. Please ensure your class arrives 5 minutes before its scheduled photo time and that students are lined up alphabetically by last name where applicable. Here is the schedule

Staff Photos

Staff photos will be taken tomorrow, Thursday, September 24, with two available time slots:

• 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
• 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

The photo location is the 2nd floor of the Cafeteria.

We encourage all staff to take advantage of one of the available time slots so we can ensure everyone is included in the 2026 Yearbook.

We will split the service lesson into two parts today.

Part 1 | 10:30am – 11am

• All students leading a Service Project this year should meet Mr Corbett in LGR 2 at 10:30am (start of Block 3) for the first half of the Service Lesson.
• All other students should go to their Advisory/Service class like in previous service lessons (see list here for where to go)

Part 2 | 11am – 11:30am

• All students will go to their new Service Project as per their Managebac timetable. You will work with your leaders to launch your project.
• If you have any questions about your group, please come and see Mr Corbett in his office.

Are you creative, collaborative, and ready for a challenge?

Join the ACAMIS Art Battle & Play in a Day at Boston International School Wuxi on 6 November 2026! This is a fantastic opportunity to meet students from other international schools and put your creativity to the test.

🎨 Art Battle
Compete in pairs (or individually if needed) to create an original artwork based on a surprise theme revealed on the day. Students will work under time pressure, think creatively, and respond to artistic challenges alongside participants from other ACAMIS schools. Teams are organized by age group (Grades 6-7, 8-9, and 10-12). 

🎭 Play in a Day
Work as part of a larger performance ensemble to create, rehearse, and perform a short play in a single day. Students will collaborate in groups, develop characters and stories, and present a live performance by the end of the event. Strong teamwork, communication, and creativity are essential. 

Whether you’re an artist, actor, writer, designer, or simply someone who enjoys creative challenges, this event is for you!
