Good morning all,
Friendly reminder about the evacuation drill at 10:00 today. B2 teachers, please remind students of the expectations of leaving all materials in classrooms, exiting the building quickly and quietly and then lining up by Primary Homeroom or Secondary Study Group at the marked places on the pitch. Secondary teachers, you may have to help new students understand which study group they are in. Here is the list of teachers overseeing the different secondary study groups and primary homeroom lines. Please review this morning to make sure you know your role. Unassigned teachers, please line up in the teacher lines to the left as you approach the pitch.

- MAP Testing Readinessby Shannon Doak

Dear Students,
MAP testing begins on Monday, August 31. To help ensure that testing runs smoothly, please check that your child’s MacBook or iPad is ready in advance.
The NWEA Secure Testing Browser/app used during our previous MAP testing session already meets the current requirements, so there is no need to reinstall it. However, it is imperative that the device’s operating system is updated.
Minimum requirements:
- MacBook: macOS 15 or later
- iPad: iPadOS 18.7 or later
Apple provides instructions for checking the operating-system version on each device:
If an update is needed, please follow Apple’s official instructions:
Please complete all available operating-system updates before August 31. Updates can take considerable time, so please do not wait until the morning of the test. We recommend backing up the device and connecting it to power before beginning an update.
Students should bring their device to school fully charged each day of MAP testing.
If you need assistance updating your device, please contact or visit the IT Department.
Thank you for helping us ensure a smooth testing experience.
