- 🔐 CyberSecurity Training at NISby Shannon Doak
At NIS, safeguarding our network is a responsibility we all share. That’s why we continue to partner with KnowBe4, a leading platform in security awareness training and social engineering prevention. The goal is to strengthen both our individual cybersecurity awareness and our collective “human firewall.”
As part of this year’s training, all staff with an NIS email address will be asked to complete two online activities:
- Security Awareness Proficiency Assessment (SAPA) – Please complete this first. It should take approximately 10 minutes and helps identify areas of strength and where additional learning may be useful.
- 2026 KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training – approximately 30 minutes. However, you may have the option to test out of portions of the training. If you successfully pass the test-out questions, your total training time may be shorter.
📅 Completion Window:
September 7 – October 5, 2026Please keep an eye out for the invitation email from KnowBe4, which will provide access to your training.
Thank you for helping make NIS a stronger and more secure learning community. Your participation plays an important role in protecting our systems, our information, and one another from cybersecurity threats.
