- Description: California Lutheran University is a private university in Southern California offering bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs. CLU is in Thousand Oaks, just one hour north of Los Angeles, and is ranked as one of the safest cities in the US. CLU is home to our dynamic programs in arts, sciences, technology, and business, with more than 3000 students. We provide some partial scholarships and financial aid up to about 30,000-35,000 USD per year.
