EARCOS Teacher Conference (March 2026)

The EARCOS Teacher Conference will be held in Bangkok 19 – 21 March 2026.

The theme is ‘Elevating Voices, Enriching Worlds’ and the areas that will be the focus of the conference are:

  • Literacy
  • Early Childhood
  • Learning Support and Special Needs
  • Modern Languages
  • Libraries
  • Counselors
  • ELL
  • Authors
  • Child Protection
  • Technology
  • General Education

NIS is able to put forward two presentations to be delivered at the conference (note: EARCOS has the final decision on all presentations). Presentations can be done individually or as a pair. NIS covers conference registration for staff that are chosen to present (flights and accommodation are not covered but can be paid with your PL fund).

If you are interested in attending (and not presenting), please go through the usual PL application process.

If you are interested in applying to present, we will be holding applications in Week 9. Applicants will need to present a short (3 – 5 minute) pitch of their presentation topic, including why it is relevant for the conference and how it will provide participants with new learning in emerging trends and/or possibilities for practice within schools; and a sample activity that they would plan on including in their presentation (5 – 7 minutes). Pitches should be 10 minutes total, and will be assessed against the EARCOS Conference Session Design and Presentation Criteria.

If you would like to apply to present, an application form will be sent out after the October Break to sign up. If you have any questions in the meantime, please come speak to me or send me an email.
