JEDI Student Representatives Application

Here are minutes for the Monday Briefing.
Dear Teachers,
On Saturday 8th November, our Robotics Team will be participating in the NIS VEXV5 Robotics Rumble here in the Blue Gyms at NIS.
To ensure that the hosting of this event runs smoothly, there are a lot of small jobs that need to happen on that day. As a number of you have expressed interest in knowing more about the robotics here at NIS, I am reaching out to see if you would be interested in volunteering some time on the Saturday to assist.
Activities that we will need assistance with include;
None of these activities require any knowledge of robotics, except perhaps the judging.
If you are interested and able to volunteer some of your time on Saturday, please let me know (in person or by email). I will be running an information session this coming Saturday morning (1st Nov) from 9:00am for anybody who is interested and able to assist, where I will be showing people exactly what each activity involves. After the session you are welcome to stay to watch the students participate in the NIS Playoffs in preparation for the Robotics Rumble Competition
Cheers Ken
Please RSVP through the LINK or QR code below. Thank you!

On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, Grade 10 students will visit the Memorial Hall of the Victims in the Nanjing Massacre. This field trip is an important part of our course, helping students understand how historians study evidence and perspectives to learn about the past.
Students will leave school at 8:10 a.m. and return by 1:30 p.m.
Students should bring a packed lunch and a refillable water bottle since we will not return to school until after lunch. They should also bring a notebook, pen or pencil, and their passport or Chinese ID, which will be collected after Discover China.
It is very important that students dress respectfully for this solemn and reflective visit. Please avoid casual clothing such as shorts, ripped jeans, or shirts with large logos or graphics. Students who are not dressed appropriately will not be allowed to enter the museum.
NIS will host ACAMIS Volleyball on this Thursday October 30 (Day 7), Friday October 31 (Day 8) and Saturday November 1. 24 students from Grade 9 to Grade 12 will be absent from your classes. Here is the name list.
Here is the Volleyball Schedule, please come and support NIS.
