Stevens High School Entrepreneurship and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Video Pitch Competition
The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology is hosting a High School Entrepreneurship and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Video Pitch Competition. This is an exciting opportunity for young innovators to showcase their entrepreneurial spirit and creative ideas in business and artificial intelligence. This individual competition is designed to inspire and empower high school students to think critically, innovate, and develop solutions that can shape the future. All participants can add this competition to their future college applications.
Eligibility:
- Open to all high school students (grades 9-11) enrolled in public, private, or homeschool programs.
Competition Structure:
- Video Submission: Each individual contestant will create a video, no longer than two minutes, presenting their business idea. The video pitch should include the problem being addressed, the proposed solution, the role of AI in the solution, market analysis, and potential business impact.
- Use of AI Tools: If contestants use AI tools to create features, or capabilities within their presentation, they must briefly explain which tools and how they were used.
- Registration Fee: $20.00 per person
- Deadline: Videos must be submitted by January 15th, 2026
Prizes:
- First Place – $500.00
- Second Place – $250.00
- Third Place – $100.00
Judging Criteria:
- Innovation and Creativity: Originality and uniqueness of the business idea.
- Application of AI: Effective and innovative use of AI technology in the proposed solution.
- Feasibility: Practicality and viability of the business idea.
- Presentation Skills: Clarity, persuasiveness, and overall quality of the video pitch.
- Business Impact: Potential impact on the market and scalability of the business idea.
Evaluation Process:
- A panel of judges consisting of Stevens faculty, staff and alumni.
- Winners will be selected and announced by February 15th, 2026
Important Dates:
- Registration Deadline: January 7th, 2026
- Video Submission Deadline: January 15th, 2026
- Winner Announcement: February 15th, 2026
How to Enter:
- All participants must register online here by January 7th, 2026.
- After participants register, they will receive the payment link to pay the $20.00 registration fee.
- Once participants pay the registration fee, they will receive instructions on where to upload their video submission.
