Giving Tree Drive Kickoff!
The 2025 “Giving Tree” Drive in support of the Pfrang Association has officially begun!
For those who are unfamiliar with Pfrang, NIS started the initiative nearly 25 years ago as a way to improve the lives of students in need in Northern Jiangsu. Proceeds from the drive, in coordination with many other fundraisers throughout the year, go towards helping students in rural areas attend quality schools and work into universities and successful careers.
To take part in the drive, follow these simple steps:
- Purchase and pick up a card with the name and school of one of the students we support
- Write a quick message of encouragement and support on the back to the student
- Return it to Mike McHugh (staff mailbox or in person) or drop it into the container in the Centre foyer
The donation is ¥100 per card, payable in 1 of 2 ways:
- Cash OR payment app at the table that will be in the Centre from Monday to Thursday next week, 7:30am to 8am
- Scanning the QR codes on this page, emailing the payment screen to mikemchugh@nanjing-school.com, after which your cards will magically appear in your staff mailbox 😉
