🔔 Bell Songs – Share your Voice!

We need more Bell Songs for the rest of the year!

Do you want to hear your favourite song being played throughout the whole school for a week? Discuss in your homerooms or advisories. Afterwards please fill in the form if you have a song clip to submit. We would love for you to share your voice via the form.

– 15 seconds long
– in m4a or mp3 format
– appropriate lyrics, topic and content for Early Years to Gr. 12

U15 Boys Volleyball Season

Hi Grade 7, 8 and 9 Boys, there is still spaces available to join and participate in the season ahead. Practices are Tuesday 14:45 – 16:15 and Thursdays 15:15 – 16:15.

Come and play or try this fantastic sport. Please see Mr Dutton or Ms Vicki if you would like to take part.

2026 Lunar New Year Staff Dinner Party Sign-up

Dear All,

Get ready to celebrate! You and your partner are warmly invited to our 2026 lunar New Year Staff Party on Friday, February 6th, 2026, at Nanjing Zidong Hotel.

We’ll arrange transportation from NIS to the Hotel. A fee of RMB260.00 applies for your partner’s attendance.

The hotel location map and transportation schedule are enclosed for your information. Kindly refer to the attachments.

  • Bus leave from NIS to the hotel at 4:45pm.
  • The RSVP sheet is in the staff room, don’t forget to sign up by 3pm next Thursday (Jan 29).

EARCOS Action Research Grants – Applications Now Open!

EARCOS awards at least 5 action research grants of $1000 USD each year for teachers to undertake research and complete an action research report.

Action research is a great way to develop your practice, do some effective professional development, and know your impact on students. The reports are often also published in the EARCOS Triannual Journal.

Grant applications close 1 March. More information, including guidelines, goals, and previous reports can be found here.
