Talent Show Auditions

The Student Council Talent show is happening on Friday March 27th – we would love to see bands, singers, musicians, dancers -please sign up for the audtions THIS week -see poster below. If you have any questions please email me ( ms Philip anniephilip@nanjing-school,com)

We are happy to see acts that arent completely polished as you have time to work on them before the show –

Tell us your GCD stories

The scaffolds for GCD are on ManageBac under FILES.

  1. Please fill out the scaffold with bullet points.
  2. Make an important to tell your story to Ms Anna, your advisor, or your other favorite teachers!
  3. By the end of Semester 2, students need to have completed the following:
    • Grade 9 – 1 story
    • G10 – 5 stories
    • G11 – 8 stories.

Culture Festival @ Wycombe Abbey Changzhou

Friday, March 6th is the deadline to submit your entries.

Students from different schools are invited to share their talents in music, drama, dance and the digital and visual arts. The competitions require an audition video which is due before March 6th. Shortlisted applicants will be notified by March 16th. Shortlisted applicants will present live on April 18th or on April 19th. There are 2 in-person competitions as well as a Theatre Lab.

Here are the competitions:

·         Ensembles G3–6, G7–9, G10–12

·         Composition G8 and under, G9–10, G11-12   

·         Digital Composition and Songwriting G8 and under, G9–10, G11-12

·         Dance G1-2, G3-6, G7-9, G10-12

·         Solo Piano Category G3–6, G7–9, G10–12

·         Solo Music Performance G3–6, G7–9, G10–12

·         Acting -Solo G3–6, G7–9, G10–12

·         Public Speaking G3–6, G7–9, G10–12     

·         Visual Arts G6-12             

·         Electric! Plugged-in Rock – Solo Section G3–6, G7–9, G10–12

·         Electric! Plugged-in Rock – Band Section
