There have been several cases of flu reported recently. The flu season is approaching. Current circulating strains include H3N2, and B/Victoria. The updated flu vaccine is now available and recommended for everyone aged 6+ months.
Reminders for staff:
– Wash hands frequently and cover coughs/sneezes
– Stay home if you have fever, cough, or sore throat.
– Consider getting your flu shot
– Send students with symptoms to the nurse’s office
Students with fever, cough, or sore throat should stay home and return only when fever-free for 48 hours without medication and no other accompanying symptoms, such as fever, cough, nasal congestion, or runny nose.
