Please Store Valuables on Pool Deck

All users of the swimming pool changing rooms are asked to make sure they do not leave any valuables behind in the changing rooms.

This applies for curricular classes, Learn To Swim classes, Swim Team trainings and community swimming.

If you do bring valuables into the changing room, you can store them in the red box, in front of the aquatics office.

As the school’s EARCOS Teacher Representative, you act as the key liaison between EARCOS and your school community. You help share opportunitiespromote professional development, and coordinate school involvement in regional conferences and events like the EARCOS Teachers’ Conference (ETC). 

Main Responsibilities 

  • Communication: Share timely updates about EARCOS events, webinars, and professional development opportunities with your colleagues. 
  • Conference Preparation, Participation & Support: Assist colleagues with submitting teacher workshop proposals for the ETC. Help review, prioritize, and rank submissions. Attend the ETC in March, represent your school, and act as a support point for colleagues at the event. At ETC, assist with logistics such as welcoming speakers, checking equipment, managing updates via the conference app, and helping with school-based presenters. 
  • Weekend Workshop Coordination: Support the planning and organization of EARCOS Weekend Workshops hosted by our school. 
  • Research & Publications: Promote EARCOS research initiatives and support colleagues contributing articles and professional learning resources. 
  • Community Building: Introduce EARCOS resources to new staff at orientation and help foster a culture of collaboration, growth, and regional connection within the school.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a brief conversation with the Director of Learning. Final selection will be made in consultation with the School Director and SET.

Students will also have an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the NYU experience.
