Regular Length Service as Action

For Service as Action, we will have a regular length session today. Students should attend Advisory as normal and move to Service at 10:50am.

For those students who do not have Service with their Advisor, please see below as a reminder of where to go.

Flu Vaccination Service with Taikang Xianlin Drum Tower Hospital

School will offer Flu Vaccination for NIS staff and their dependents (children up to 17 years old) at the Taikang Hospital. We have selected the recommended vaccination at a cost of RMB 108. The school nurse will coordinate the registration, please complete the survey via 2026 Flu Shot  to signup by 4.00PM on Friday, 04 September. Please bring your passport or ID card when visiting the Taikang VIP clinic.

For those who wish to use another clinic, the school will reimburse up to RMB 108 upon presentation of an official Fapiao. Please note that 25% EIT will be deducted from the reimbursement if the official Fapiao is not issued under the school’s Chinese name and tax ID.  NIS TAX INFO

Note: Taikang Xianlin Drum Tower Hospital can only vaccinate individuals 16 years and older.

Interested in Playing Screen Golf

Let’s go to Screen Golf, an indoor venue with big screens and sensors that track your ball, where you can practice your drives, sharpen your short game, or just compete for the lowest score. Students need to bring their own clubs. This is an off-campus activity, we need parent permission for travel, participation, and dismissal. Spots are limited. Sign up on SchoolsBuddy and we will email you the permission form. The group will depart from school at 3:10 PM and travel together to the venue. At the end of the activity, with authorization, students could be dismissed directly from the venue or return to NIS for dismissal.

Wednesdays, 3.15 – 4.30 pm. You should bring your own clubs.

Fitness Room Use by Students

Important Information for Grade 8 and 9 Students

Before students can use the Fitness Room, they must attend one training session. There are two dates to choose from:

Training Session Dates:

· Tuesday, September 01, 2026 — from 2:45 PM to 4:15 PM
· Wednesday, September 02, 2026 — from 3:10 PM to 4:25 PM

In the training session, students will learn:

· The rules of the Fitness Room and how to behave
· How to use the exercise equipment safely
· How to make a simple workout plan

After the training, students may use the Fitness Room during these Open Hours starting September, 08, 2026:

· Tuesdays — 2:45 PM to 4:15 PM
· Wednesdays — 3:00 PM to 4:25 PM
