Measuring the Impact of Guided Intercultural Development

By Iryna Klyuk and Tríona Ryan

Psychological safety potentiates intellectual risk-taking and resilience, maximizing learning through safe and respectful interaction. This study challenges that assumption by examining the impact of proactive assessment of intercultural knowledge and competencies, structured intervention and the measurable impact on meaningful development over time. The problem of practice is, therefore, how can we measure levels of intercultural competence and assess the impact of interventions to develop self-awareness and growth in this area?
