TETR College of Business Information Session

The French 8 class has an amazing opportunity to meet with two Frenchmen who are walking from France to Shanghai. That’s right, WALKING! On Thursday, they will be stopping in Nanjing. We will go to L’Alliance Française to meet them and to learn about their journey. Their trip coincides perfectly with our French unit on Globetrotting. We will leave at 12.30 pm and return around 3 pm.
Les chanceux: Grace, Yuxi, Hedy, Sara, Marijne, Haoyuan, Alice, Eilin, Panda, Coco et Mini.
ISA Writing assessments will be coming up on Weeks 22-23.
To get ready for the upcoming assessments, all students must:
Complete the update and browser exam by Thursday, January 30. If you encounter any issues, please visit the IT Office for support — they promise they only bite when Chrome isn’t updated. 😄
Saika Weir will be taking over classes for Ray Wang while he is away on medical leave. Be sure to give her a warm NIS hello when you see her around campus!
The SET is looking for about 6 teachers to join a task force to review our current Professional Growth Programme (PGP) and explore new ways to enhance it for the future. This will be a collaborative, co-consulting, and co-designing group, meeting monthly both during and outside of class time, with some pre‑reading as well.
We’re hoping to bring together a diverse mix of voices and perspectives for the group, but we will definitely ensure that everyone has the chance to provide feedback once initial ideas and designs are developed.
Our first meeting is planned for Week 24 (time to be confirmed).
If you’re interested, please let Sandra know!
Here are minutes for the Monday Briefing.
Happy Monday, all!
If you have an idea worth spreading, please send it to us before February 5, 2026. Please complete the pitch questions and send them to Ms. Ryan, Ms. Luo, or Ms. Fisher. We will select the lucky 10 speakers before the holiday.
