Child Protection Training & Quiz

Hi Everyone,

As mentioned in the Morning Briefing, we are introducing a new asynchronous format for this year’s Child Protection & Safeguarding Basics Training. This training is an annual requirement for our accreditation and ensures that all staff are informed and equipped to uphold our child safeguarding responsibilities. The new format provides greater flexibility and personalization to support your learning.

Below are the resources you’ll need to review key information about child protection & safeguarding for this year:

After reviewing the materials, please complete the Child Protection and Safeguarding – Basics Training Quiz. To meet the requirements, you must achieve a passing grade of 100%. The quiz can be retaken as many times as needed to reach this score. Please ensure that the quiz is completed by August 31, 2025.

House Shirts Collection on August 15

Please collect the house T-shirts(if needed) according to the following schedule on this Friday (August 15 Day 2). Staff may pick it up during lunch time (12pm-1pm)

JEDI Session – Today in the PAC 

Hello everyone,

Just a reminder that our JEDI session is today from 10:30 to 12:00 in the PAC.
Please bring your computers. 

We’ll spend the first part of our time with the Humanising Pedagogy framework – exploring the 7 Educator Commitments, reflecting on our own practice, and choosing one to focus on for the next few weeks. We’ll add our ideas and next steps to Padlet so we can see our collective commitments.

In the second part, we’ll do a Speak Up recap – refreshing our strategies for addressing bias and microaggressions and thinking about how we model these for our students.

Campus Lawn Closure

The campus lawn will be closed for maintenance recently. During this period, access to the lawn area will be restricted.

The lawn is expected to reopen on September 1, 2025.
