All classes are invited to the Grade 5 PYP Exhibition — a culmination of years of inquiry, growth, and learning. This showcase is a powerful demonstration of what our learners can achieve when curiosity, agency, and community come together.
Please sign up your class for a 30-minute visit on Friday, May 16.
Sign-up to indicate your interest in participating in the “Pfrang Days” event from May 19 (Mon) until May 21 (Wed), using the QR code below:
REMINDER: Only students in Grades 8-11 are eligible to participate this year. More information will be shared with registered participants as the event gets closer.
May 19 (Mon): “Unplug Day” — Leave your phone with your Advisor between 8am and 3pm, and live life a little simpler for one day (as many other people do every day) for 20 points!
May 20 (Tues): “Walk-It-Out Day” — Come out to the track during the 11:30am lunch break and get in some laps, 5 points awarded per lap up to a maximum of 40 points!
May 21 (Wed): “Draw-the-Future Day” — Using supplies in your Advisory during Advisory time, create an image of what the world might look like if everyone had a chance at a quality education. Points will be awarded according to judging criteria.
IMPORTANT: Earn both small prizes for yourself AND points and prestige for your House! More information about the prize structure can be found in the sign-up form.
We look forward to seeing you for this first ever Pfrang-themed event at NIS!
Please submit the Microsoft form application no later than Wednesday, May 14th EOD, 2025.
Dear PYP Colleagues,
We’re excited to announce applications for the PYP JEDI Adult Representative — this is a really important role for helping shape a more just, equitable, and inclusive community. If you’re passionate about making a difference and want to be part of this impact, we’d love to hear from you.
Thank you for taking part and remember to incorporate daily exercise to boost your physical health, enhance your mood, and improve sleep quality. Make it a habit for a healthier, happier life!
Please read through the announcement about “Pfrang Days” from May 19 and May 21, posted in the Student Bulletin every day throughout this week, with your Advisory. If students need the QR code shared with them via email, please copy it from here and send it along to them:
