EARCOS Action Research Grants – Applications Now Open!

EARCOS awards at least 5 action research grants of $1000 USD each year for teachers to undertake research and complete an action research report.

Action research is a great way to develop your practice, do some effective professional development, and know your impact on students. The reports are often also published in the EARCOS Triannual Journal.

Grant applications close 1 March. More information, including guidelines, goals, and previous reports can be found here.

As always, chat to me in the corridor or send me an email if you have any questions or would like more info.

New Secondary Students Monday

Good morning all,

Yesterday afternoon, Cindy updated ManageBac to include the new students on your class lists. We have 14 new students joining us across grades 6-9, including a couple of siblings of current secondary students. Here is a ppt with most of the new students listed showing their MAP and Duolingo, and in some cases a note about interests. Ruben has organized their buddies for Monday morning; please welcome them to your lessons and help them settle in!
